Hugo and AsciiDoc TestTrack
Much to do about Nuttin'!
About this Site
TestTrack is your playground for trying out Hugo and Asciidoctor Code Secrets in real time. Follow instructions in the user Manual to build your own TestTrack from scratch--the same website that you are viewing right now!
I created this site and I wrote the accompanying manual, for all who seek an incredible website building system super-charged with the best content markup language ever conceived. Of course I’m talking about Hugo and AsciiDoc! Please let me know if you find the information presented here as useful I have during the past several months that I spent happily playing around with these great products.

All source code for the identical TestTrack website that you are currently browsing is included in the Manual and GitHub repository. Just copy and paste as instructed while optionally watching the companion videos to "Clone Your Own." It’s a fun way to learn about Hugo and Asciidoctor while building a useful software tool customized however you wish. |
You will probably find this site to be a little wacky and inconsistent in style. That’s because, being tutorials, many pages necessarily and intentionally have unique appearances and don’t operate consistently. For example, the site’s nav bar isn’t available on every page.
As an example of where we are going, in your own site you might want to get rid of the "Nutty" phrase at the beginning of this page. That will be easy to do once you learn about Go templates, partials, blocks, and other Hugo Code Secrets as revealed in this site’s documentation. |
I wrote this page and TestTrack entirely using only a text editor, Hugo and Asciidoctor. The results are all here so you can learn how to do the same—and more!
